Does Avantus accept my borrower's check or credit card?
Yes. Borrower's checks can be mailed to us or a borrower's credit card can be entered at the time of ordering, with the exception of Rapid Update requests. This cost may not be passed directly or indirectly to the consumer.

What types of payment does Avantus accept?
Avantus accepts checks along with credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Can my account be setup to be paid automatically each month?
Yes. Avantus lets you pay your account balance automatically via credit card. Simply download the Monthly Autocharge Authorization Form here, fill it out and fax it to our Financial Services department at 855-664-5410.

Does Avantus offer online billing services?
Yes. Avantus allows you to view recent transactions, provides access to all past and present statements and the ability to pay your account via credit card.

What is your refund/return policy?
Avantus is an information clearinghouse, as such great efforts are taken to be sure that the information you request based on the input you provide is accurate and complete. Due to the nature of our business we do not provide for refunds or returns.

What do I need to do if my company moves to a new address?
We understand that changes happen in the course of business. The credit repositories have mandated several rules that must be followed.

Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax require that a physical inspection be performed on any change of address, change of ownership, and the addition of branches in other locations. Such changes may require additional documentation or re-certification by Avantus.

To ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible, please take the following steps:

  • Notify Avantus of any changes to the business name, address or phone number within 15 days prior to such change.
  • Please complete the Avantus Site Visit Form and fax back to the compliance department at 866-692-9196.
  • Once we receive the Site Visit Form we will make the adjustment to your records and order the physical inspection.
